Anuj Arora, who appeared in Bandini, Thodi Khushi Thode Gham, Behenein, and Anarchy, makes his Bollywood debut with “Koi Jaye Toh Le Aaye.”

While assisting Dibakar Banerjee, Anuj started applying despite having no industry connections. He took charge and got a role in Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum. I auditioned for Star Plus and got the role of Prateek in Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum. Attending a five-star hotel party was memorable. The guards called me by my character’s name when I entered, my first taste of fame. From this moment on, I was excited and

learned a lot about the industry. After that, I worked on Behenein, my second Hats Off Production show. He stated that he collaborated with Ekta Ma’am on several shows, including Bandini on NDTV Imagine and Thodi Khushi Thode Gham on Sony. My father passed away, which was devastating. My mother and family were alone in Jodhpur, so I returned in 2018. He added, “I took a break to be with them during a sudden and difficult time.”

While emotionally low in Jodhpur, Anuj contacted his theater guru, who helped him get a role in his play. He said, “Theatre has always refreshed my spirit. “Ek Mamuli Admi” was the name of this play. Participating helped me heal from that low point. I stayed in Jodhpur until 2021 due to COVID-19. Following the pandemic, I returned to Mumbai to work. A web series audition grabbed my attention, so I tried it. I got the job,

beginning my career.” In Mr. Tarik Khan’s Anarchy, I portray Chandni, a transgender 1980s character. My hardest role has transformed how I look. Casting me as this character was a compliment. I’m lucky to have collaborated with Piyush Mishra, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Anita Hassanandani. We spent a year filming in Raipur’s authentic settings. I’m thrilled for its release, he said.

What next? I hope these projects succeed. They’ve been worked hard on. I look forward to developing interesting characters in various mediums. I prefer deep, challenging roles on any platform. Anuj said he wants more opportunities to work with famous filmmakers he admires.
